Last night we took the kids and went to the Mill St Pub, where I had some of the best nachos I have ever had. The nachos were served with their signature pulled chicken on top, and I loved it so much that I came home and decided to make a go of it. One thing you will quickly learn about me, is that I am a huge fan of slow cooker. When I was working, there was nothing I loved more than coming home from a long day to a warm dinner ready to be eaten. It's the perfect way to make inexpensive meat tender and delicious, and there is so much room for experimenting with flavors. I have many slow cooker recipes that will eventually make their was on here.
Mill St Beer Pulled Chicken
1 bottle of Mill St Organic Original Beer
5 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tbsp onion powder
1 teaspoon minced onion
2 Tablespoons of Franks Red Hot sauce.
1 clove garlic, minced
Salt & Pepper to taste
2 cups of Diana Sauce
Toss it all in the slow cooker and cook on low for 6 hours. Easy Peasy. Serve on whatever bun or roll you like.
